About

ArtVista School is an online school for learning art history and visual culture. Courses are designed to enable students to discover artistic movements, learn about historical contexts, and practice identifying and analyzing works of painting, sculpture, architecture, and other types of art.

Our Mission

At ArtVista School, we teach our students that all works of art reflect the cultural, historical and artistic environments in which they were created. In each lesson, students will learn how art was made, as well as why it continues to have an impact on society globally. We encourage them to analyze works of art through the lens of history and critique.

Learn Through History

We will also take students on a journey of important art periods, and introduce them to significant movements, outstanding artists, and the history behind these art forms. Every lesson puts the art in its cultural background, which makes the harder stuff a lot easier to grasp.

Develop Analytical Skills

Students learn historical context but also develop the ability to analyze works of art based on their composition, symbolism, technique, and style. This experience equips students with the confidence to speak and write about works of art from a variety of time periods.
